Thank you for your Email.

Bristol have for a number of years operated bus services over the New Year period.

However, here in Leeds demand has in been too low to justify Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve bus services and New Year's Day.

Late night services were introduced in 2001 on New Year's Eve/Day from 8pm to 2.30 am and were successful when Leeds City Council organised events in millennium square. However, last year we lost money when fewer customers travelled and when considering the situation for 2004, we took into account the fact that the council did not organise any events for 31st December 2004 - we decided not to operate them this year.
